Your email

If you subscribe to the daily Dawn letter, we store your email address (in a Cloudflare KV namespace) for the single purpose of sending you one quote each morning. We never sell or rent it, and we never use it to target advertising.

You can unsubscribe at any time, and we remove your address on request.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (loaded via Google Tag Manager) and Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages are read and how visitors find us — page views, approximate location, browser, and device type. Google Analytics may set cookies for this; Ahrefs Analytics is cookieless.

We use this data only to improve the site. We do not build individual profiles, and we do not combine analytics data with subscriber emails.

Advertising

bibbledawn is free to read and supported by advertising. Content pages (quotes, topics, authors, dreams, baby names, affirmations, and horoscope) show clearly labelled ad units from our advertising partners — currently Adsterra, and, if our application is approved, Google AdSense. The homepage, Quote of the Day, search, subscription, and policy pages carry no ads.

Ad partners and their networks may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver ads, limit how often you see one, and measure performance. Depending on your region and your consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can learn about and opt out of Google ad personalization in your Google account settings.

Cookies & consent

Cookies on bibbledawn come from the analytics and advertising partners described above — the site itself requires none. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK), personalized advertising and measurement run only with your consent.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; every page keeps working without them.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering the font files. The other third-party services on these pages are the analytics and advertising partners named above: Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, and prospectively AdSense), Ahrefs, and Adsterra. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you (for subscribers, that is just your email address), ask us to correct or delete it, or unsubscribe at any time. Email us and we will sort it out promptly.
